Matrox MXO2 Mini MAX Offered at a New Low Price of $599 (press release)
I’ve been a fan of the MXO2 Mini MAX for years now. I use it for all my H.264 encodes and take it into the field pretty often. Recently, Matrox released a unified software package, so it doesn’t matter which NLE you’re using, which has been the most annoying part of using Matrox products. You can now get versions with PCIe, Expresscard and Thunderbolt. Matrox even offers an enhanced Thunderbolt dock called the MXO2 Dock that includes things like USB3 and Ethernet along with a connection to the MXO2 Mini MAX.
